Three months ago, from February 7–9, 2025, we gathered in Kamloops and online across continents for the Educating for Tomorrow: Ukrainian Values in a Global World conference — and it still resonates in our hearts today.
What began as an academic gathering quickly transformed into something far more powerful: a movement of solidarity, scholarship, and shared responsibility. With over 100 participants from more than 10 countries, 60+ research presentations, and voices joining from war zones, classrooms, and diasporic communities, we built something extraordinary together.
We discussed:
- How Ukrainian identity continues to evolve under pressure.
- How education, innovation, and civic engagement are shaping resilience.
- How global solidarity — from Kamloops to Kharkiv — can uplift a people and a cause.
From opening prayers by Elder Gwendy Campbell-McArthur and Father Wasylinko, to the stirring resolutions passed at the closing ceremony, the entire conference was anchored in care, courage, and hope.

To all who presented, attended, organized, or supported — thank you. This was more than three days. It was the start of many collaborations and a living commitment to a better future for Ukraine and the world.
💛💙 Let us carry this momentum forward, together.
