I am always interested in intersectionality of Ukrainian-Canadian culture and recently start working on creating a number of playlists to celebrate different aspects of Ukrainian-Canadian cultural traditions.
One of my playlists currently highlights Ukrainian Christmas Carols, New Year Songs and St. Nicholas songs that are performed during winter holiday season. To listen to the playlist click the following link: Ukrainian Christmas Carols, New Year Songs and St. Nicholas Songs playlist (YouTube)
Another playlist focuses on the famous Ukrainian-Canadians that students from Ukraine highlighted during a recent competition organized by O.W.L. Canada. The link is here: Famous Ukrainian-Canadians playlist (YouTube)
If you have any other Canadian-Ukrainian playlist ideas let me know and I will create them too!
