Standing by waterfalls in Austria and here in Canada, I’m reminded that water doesn’t ask permission to flow – it simply moves, persistent and unstoppable, carving its path through stone and time.
The roar of Krimml Falls, the rush of water near Kamloops (Margaret Falls) – these forces have been here long before our struggles and will continue long after. There’s something profound about placing yourself next to that power, feeling the mist on your face, hearing the ancient sound of water finding its way.
Water heals not because it’s gentle, but because it’s relentless. It doesn’t stop for obstacles – it shapes them, moves around them, wears them down.
To all who stand visible and invisible in solidarity – your support flows like water across borders, through screens, beyond physical distance. Whether you comment, share, message quietly, or simply hold us in your thoughts, you’re part of this unstoppable current.
The power of water combined with the power of people who refuse to let you face the current alone – that’s where healing happens. That’s where joy becomes resistance.
We are stronger together, flowing forward, carving new paths through whatever tries to stop us.
Grateful for every drop of support, every current of care.
Sasha
PS: Pictures are one week apart. Thank you to all who join us for the drive to share some of the local beauty with newcomers to Kamloops and those who share their knowledge about local treasures!
