Every week, the Kamloops community gathers to stand in peaceful solidarity with Ukraine, offering support in the face of the ongoing Russian aggression. These gatherings are a reflection of our collective commitment to justice, human rights, and global solidarity. We continue these peaceful gatherings weekly, and all are welcome to join.

In addition to standing with the Ukrainian community, Randy has been vocal about the importance of choice and open discussion in our local elections. He warns against the dangers of polarized politics, which can lead voters to support candidates to block others from power, rather than choosing someone who champions their values. As we approach the upcoming provincial election, we encourage all candidates to share their views on how they stand with Ukraine. So far, Randy Sunderman is the only candidate from the BC Greens who has consistently joined us. We hope to see more candidates attending, demonstrating their commitment to working with diverse groups within Kamloops.
