Part One follows eleven monuments, from Kranj, Vienna, Washington, Bratislava, Zagreb, Prague, Paris and Lisbon to Kyiv, Lviv and Winnipeg, each with a note on the monument and its sources. Part Two is a study of Shevchenko monuments outside Ukraine, with an inventory of 81 sites in 31 countries, by region, with the status of each written out in words.
