Every Saturday at three o’clock, we gather anyway.
We gather with small flags and handmade signs. With smiles that carry resolve and with tired eyes that still show up. We gather not because it’s convenient, but because consistency is its own kind of courage. Week after week, we say the same simple thing: Ukraine is not alone.
The mountains in the background remind us where we are—on Indigenous land, in a Canadian city far from the front lines, but not far from responsibility. The Tryzub in the clouds and the maple leaf beside it are not decoration; they are a promise of shared values. Freedom. Dignity. The right to exist without fear.

Yes, the buildings aren’t exact.
But if you come to City Hall today—and every Saturday—you will see us there.
