We invite you to join us in solidarity with Ukraine for a special event marking two years since the beginning of russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.
Please join the Kamloops Stand With Ukraine group on Saturday, February 24th at 3 PM for a peaceful rally at City Hall focused on Ukraine’s ongoing struggles and future rebuilding. This event will highlight the themes of Resilience, Resistance, Remembrance and Rebuilding.
Over the past two years, the people of Ukraine have demonstrated remarkable courage and resilience while resisting russia’s unprovoked attacks on their nation. As we approach this solemn anniversary, we ask the Kamloops community to stand with Ukraine by attending this rally to honour the victims, reflect on the ongoing war, recognize Ukraine’s acts of bravery, and support their efforts to rebuild.
